THE HEALING WALL

Situated in the place of the original village square, a memory of something that vanished. A change of substances, brick wall surrounded by the air. Uniqueness is defined by things that escape our attention. ALL THAT CHANGES. The abstract composition of the brick relief refers to the disappeared original built-up area of newly revitalized park. The brick wall finishes the axial composition of the park, an original bottom of the pond. Classical technology of the brick bonding is brought to its very border of feasibility. Contrasting with the traditional construction material, the wall is equipped with a nanotechnological transparent paint, which cleans the air thanks to its photocatalytic effect (without any chemical or waste substances). This unique technology was developed by Czech scientists at the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry.
